HI , we worked for scott dylan from ireland or london for xclusivemedia.com , he paid out two coders thru paypal and did a chargeback after that , we lost a hefty some and also the case to paypal as they dont have any seller pro policy for intangible goods .
we intend to file a case against scott dylan .
help anyone?

Yeah, he's a big scammer, tried to get me several years ago for over 10k but didn't make it.

I'm surprised as a seller you didn't win this one, unless he did a credit card chargeback. I would fight it to the end, get rent-a-coder involved, use every bit of information on this guy you can find and I have a feeling you could win this.

Paypal's stance is they don't approve chargebacks and disputes on intangible goods or services UNLESS it's a credit card then you may as well consider it a loss. You will have to fight it tooth and nail to win it. We have won many chargeback cases but you have to have plenty of documentation and proof.

I would never do work with anyone I don't know without a contract, escrow service, or a way to cover my butt.

Get rent-a-coder involved first.

good luck, I can't believe this scam artist is still out there and not in jail.

Same scenario here m'fraid, no payments for work done since Octber 07.
We have been thinking about filing, but after reading this we are seriously questioning if it is worth it.
Does anyone actually know who he is and how to find him?
