It seems that these days the number of Safelists online seems to be exploding and, I suspect, at least 90% of them produce dismal results.

Where can I go to get a list that ranks safelists on results achieved or / and customer satisfaction?

Beyond that, all the ones listed in Affiliate Funnel are a good place to start.

Can't go wrong with EliteSafelist or Adtactics.

The Affiliate Funnel list is killer too.

And I always enjoy reading Jerry's safelist posts when I get the chance.

I found I was already a member! but had forgotten it in the almost year while I did other things to gain my freedom. Thanks for reminding me - I'm off to evaluate it now (Hmm .. 0.5% reported conversions?)

DEFINITELY biased! haha

But if you do a little research, I think you'll find a lot of people that will agree that Elite, Adtactics, and/or the AF list are some of the best safelists out there. So it's not just me saying that

Conversion numbers will always be different for everyone due to varying factors, so I can't really say anything about that. Just throwing out some suggestions on what I've historically found to work well.

As someone who hasn't used TE's and Safelists etc. for a longggg time (being more into SEO and PPC etc for targeted traffic over the last year or so) but now having to quickly get to speed again as I ramp up my training for all the, relatively, newish members swarming in as a result of the 12SecondCommute launch, I just wanted to thank you for a very worthwhile service in publishing your results as you do.

Are Safelists even safe?

Where can I learn more about Safelists - any unbiased resources?

I'm reviewing this product for The Zizish Guide, [ here's the site they created for me: http://www.lemonfreshpandas.com ] and now I have to jump through all the regular hoops - just like a newbie (because they are my target reader) and this product's training stressed using Safelists.

They mentioned 3 Safelists and said there were 1000's and that I just had to test them all and find out which one worked, or I could buy there $12 report on how to use Safelists (but I'm not doing that.) [I try to follow what I preach which is, be careful where you spend your money, $37 or $12 may not seem like a lot, but if you're spending it every other day on stuff that's available for free... (well you get the picture.)]

So, I've been trying to find valid info on Safelists. Unfortunately, my Googling didn't find me anything useful (for free) on Safelists. But it did bring me here - so, that's a plus.

What makes you say that bit strong is it not ?

Traffic Hoopla does have a firm place in the rankings industry but it should be used with other services like Affiliate Funnel to get a overall picture followed up by tracking your splash stats.

I saw this post and figured I'd put in my 2 cents.

Safelists work, but don't let them all full you.

Here is the truth.

#1: Safelist X has a lot of members so I'll get tons of clicks and leads and sales!

Truth: Just because a safelist has a lot of members doesn't mean you'll get better results then the one with half the members. Why? Because not all members are active, and 99% of your safelists out there don't remove inactive members. So the truth is if a safelist has say 5k members maybe only 3.5k are actively using it while the others stopped using the service all together. Also your ad has to do a lot with it, and if your not using a lead capture page you'll see even less results.

#2: I saw a safelist ranking site. The ones at the top must be the best.

Truth: Safelist Ranking sites are good, but even they don't tell the full truth. Don't get me wrong Affiliate Funnel and Traffic Hoopla are the 2 best in the business (so I think). However this site here http://leadpaging.com/ars/rankit1.shtml has rankings all over the place. It's not a bad site, but sites that are ranked high say in the 20's 30's range shouldn't even really be there. Some should but not all of them.

Bottom Line

Use Affiliate Funnel and Traffic Hoopla to build your core list of places to use. Then from that list do your own testing and cut that list down to the ones that work the best for YOU. If you want even better results buy the solo ads from safelists as they get more clicks and are affordable.
