Welcome to the newest issue of the Hit Exchange News and this week's 'One To Click On by Jon'.

How do you see this industry progressing? I must admit, there's been a few times that I've been really concerned about the industry. This is due to the increase of cheat programs that have come into the market. Now instead of cheating the hit exchanges, these folks have developed the technology to actually cheat YOU, the member, the surfer!

Let's be honest though, cheats will be cheats and are here to stay. No matter how big you build a wall, these kind of people will always slide through the cracks, so while I have mentioned it before, I will do so again. It's the responsibility of all of us, who use these programs, to speak up!

If you see a cheat program being advertised, report it! If you know of someone who is TEACHING their members to cheat, report them! If you get an e-mail about a cheat program, send it to me! Hey, stop by Net Marketing Forum and let everyone know about it. There's dozen of exchange owners present and we will do our best to filter out the good and the bad.

Will it go away? I doubt it! Hit exchanges are becoming more popular than ever, and will continue to grow. Look at the year so far, it's proof right there that the industry is blooming. There's been new programs launched over the past few months that have been incredible successes! I know I will do my part to make sure all these people's efforts are not ruined by some lazy cheats.

It's your advertising method of choice. Why? Because it works! Let's keep it clean!

"Personally I really like getting emails from my exchanges. I am signed up for so many that it reminds me to go surf that particular one. Once or twice a week is good for me without getting annoying. I also would really like to get weekly emails from forums with a list of current and hot topics. That also reminds me to visit my favorite forums, and typically the hot topics are interesting to me. I get so busy with other aspects of running a home business, (advertising etc..), that I like to be reminded of these as it is also so important to keep abreast of the latest news which I will get from the forums, especially NetMarketing Forum. • The world record for "Longest Time to Answer a Support Question" goes too...Hit Pulse! Are you ready for this, 269 Days, 22 Hours, 47 Minutes, and 0 Seconds is how long it took Hit Pulse to answer my support ticket. The question was about ad tracking links. Now that's speedy!

• Million Dollar Traffic has released their second version of their desktop surfer. What's a great sign is that they designed this one around the comments and suggestions of their membership. Again, this has been one of the best surprises this year, a unique exchange with great results!

• Pro Click Exchange is under brand new management. Dan Moses (from PageSwirl.com, ClickmasterPro.com and FreeClickThruClub.com) has taken control of this cool little program. I'm sure there will be some very interesting new developments with Pro Click Exchange and definately something to watch out for.

• Agora Club has been giving me quite a hard time of late. A note to everyone, any hit exchange that does not allow you to use tracking links, stay away from. To add insult to injury, they claimed to me that they are the greatest hit exchange ever??????? This coming from the same people who do not allow you to promote other hit exchange OR any ad trackers in their system. Brilliant!

• And finally, I just won the lottery, over $150,000 to be exact. I will be travelling the globe and will be sending HEN out every 2 months from now on.................Just kidding...*LOL* April's Fools! =)

"Is it feasible to advertise a brick and mortar business, via hit exchanges, that don't cater to small product sales? Does it increase search engine rankings?"

My reply;

Great question.

I would like to think that a trend can be started where big business wants to advertise in hit exchanges. The key to this, is getting more people surfing the exchanges themselves. A broader audience is a broader market for companies to promote their product to.

Yes, rankings can increase but what's more important I think is the branding. Getting your company's name seen can not only help small business but big business as well.

It's called the first exchange that inspires? And while you may not begin to paint a masterpiece after surfing this program, you will be very pleased with it. VinterChange is another great new release from an already VERY impressive 2003/2004!

VinterChange uses an older and rarely used commerical script from ClixMania fame. Don't let that fool you because this has been customized for VinterChange. It's such a smooth and easy to use script, I'm amazed to why others have not yet picked up on it.

VinterChange delivers some very good traffic. The flow is steady which means it has some very active members (almost 1000 members). The site design is well done and the surf bar is a pleasure to use. This program is owned by some MPAM members, so it would be a good idea to create doorway pages for this exchange, keeping in mind a chunk of the membership is invovled with MPAM.

The only thing I would suggest is that there would be a more scheduled release of newsletters. This is a very good exchange, and I'm sure a weekly report or such could only increase it's members activety!

New Exchange of the Week - Hill Billi Hits (Part 2)

Good program, bad timing. Is what could be said about Hill Billi Hits the last time it was launched. It has a great site design, great features and a very easy to use members area. As it goes online, that version was not destined to be. Enter the next version of the program and I must say, this new script that is being used by HBH and other exchanges is becoming quite a nice little set of codes. This script is AMAZING, and the program picks up where it left off. Again, this is a brand new program but under the same name. New management, new script and new look. Enjoy!
