Welcome to the newest issue of the Hit Exchange News and this week's 'One To Click On by Jon'.
Wow, these past 14 days have been quite an adventure. In a nutshell, I just transplanted my family from one of the biggest cities in North America to a much smaller city....2200 miles away. Believe me, moving is not fun! Alas, we are settled and I can't wait to get back into the swing of things with H.E.N. and all the news from the past two weeks.
It's been a very busy few weeks in the industry and some interesting developments have begun to take shape, a recent article in The Nettle briefly mentioned a 'revolution' in the exchange industry. You can read more about it on that link and be sure to keep an eye out for more information on the 'exchange alliance'......
Enough hype, let's get back to business. Here's Issue 44, I hope you all enjoy it!
Thank you so much for being a subscriber!
Jon =)

- There's something to be said about a hit exchange that combines itself with the term 'matrix', people seem to LOVE it. Escpecially when it's called Clicking Crazy and it's owned by the extremely popular Rev9 Downline Club. They have just released a brand new 3X3 forced matrix pro upgrade option and the crowds have been flocking to it. The Rev9 name has made this one of the hottest upgrades online, but can it keep growing after the initial hype?
- eBay meets a hit exchange? Not really, but Cash Clicking is sure to make it's mark in the auction world. The folks at CashClicking have added one of the most unique features ever to be combined with a hit exchange, an online auction site. Not only can you auction your Cash Clicking credits, but you can put up anything you really want. From web hosting, to new scripts, it's definately a feature to watch!
- Hit Pulse has completely re-designed their members area. It's got a sleek new look and the best feature that has been added is the ability to add more than one URL (it's about time!) Other useful features is the time in which your credits are used. Instead of the lightning speed and 19% unique ratio, you can now spread the hits out. Next, support requests answered within a week!
- One of my favorite websites is shutting it's doors. Manual Traffic Surf is going to stop taking in new subscribers immediately and shut it's doors in the coming weeks. This was one of the best resources online for getting new hit exchanges as they launched, plus it was one of the most thourough directories online. Good luck to MTS and thanks for your valuable contribution, you will be missed!

This week's question comes from Guido;
"My question is already burning me for weeks, because I just don't understand it. Why do most hitexchanges forbit to use popups on my sites that can not be blocked. I don't understand it, these popups are the best way to stop cheaters. The surfer has to act in order to move to the next site, so all autosurfers will be stopped by these popups. I mean there are so many great ways to use these popups, for example my own newsletter alert popup, or the pop up from subscriptionrocket, optinboom or optinstorm.
Can you please explain why some exchanges don't allow them?"
My reply;
Thanks for the e-mail =)
I remember when Fly In Ads became all the rage online. Most exchange owners detested them, but I always thought, hey this is a great way to stop auto surfing programs. Programs like that are definately a way to make sure people are looking at your pages.
Here's the problem, it annoys people. Owners got a flood of emails from angry members telling them to get rid of the pop up / fly in's. It's a shame because as an owner myself, I want to keep my members happy. But at the same time, cheat protection is important.
So it's a double edged sword really. Provide better cheat protection, but annoy your members. The owners decided to make their members happy, and banned these kind of sites.
Do you have a burning question about hit exchanges? Thinking of starting one? Tired of clicking for hours with no results? This is H.E.N.'s weekly Q & A section where I will answer a question every week that you ask me!
Send all your questions to me here and just put HEY JON! in the subject line!
Congratulations to Guido for winning last issue's contest. Remember, keep sending in your 'Hey Jon' questions for your chance to win a quick 10 bucks and a month's worth of banner ad space in HEN!

| Program Review - Boom Clicking |
|
Have you ever thought something was going to be great, but did'nt quite turn out like you thought it would? Boom Clicking, on the surface, should be one of the best exchanges on the planet. Period. It has it all, great design, visble cheat protection, unique concept. This program, I thought, was going to give some of the bigger exchanges a run for their money.
What went wrong? I get hits everyday from Boom Clicking, but not the numbers I thought I would get. The owners of this program have got a great foundation but traffic just does not seem to flow through the program. It's such a shame because again, I think this thing can be HUGE!
However, things are beginning to turn around. Traffic flow has been increasing over the past few weeks and Boom Clicking has got some new incentives to get more of their members surfing this great program. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, here's hoping for quick turn around!
% Unique Traffic: 78
Results: 3.0 out of 5.0
Traffic Flow (Speed of Delivery): Very Slow
Site Design: 4.0 out of 5.0
Customer Service: 3.0 out of 5.0
Ease of Use: 4.0 out of 5.0
Overall Rating: 3.0 Mouse Clicks (Rating out of 5.0)
