The Pulse of the Hit Exchange Industry!

Welcome to the newest issue of the Hit Exchange News and this week's 'One To Click On by Jon'.
At last count, there was something like 800 hit exchanges on the internet. I'm sure that number can be higher, but for active programs it may even be less. Not sure exactly, but one things certain, there's too many hit exchanges. The supply and demand of the exchanges is way out of synch. The number of ACTIVE users within these programs is not as high as some of us would like to think.
Does this mean the industry is failing? Nope, not by a long shot. There needs to be things done to improve the overall quality of hit exchanges, and steps are being put in place. Each owner has their own view of how things should run, and the diversity of each program is really what can shape the exchanges for years to come. New themes, new technology, new designs, new promotions, it's all adding substance to the industry.
What does the surfer do? Surfers are being asked to surf more, they do. They are asked to promote more, they do. I've got a question for the surfers now, what should we do? Limit our surfing to only a handful of exchanges, each day. Or continue to juggle exchange after exchange (and like I do almost daily) start to get inactive accounts because we just simply forget about a program.
It's a tough question, but something that I'm sure everyone has already decided. I've got my bookmarks, and those are the exchanges I choose to surf. It's a big list, because I need to TRY to be active in as many exchanges as I can, but I do limit my surfing to the programs that deliver what they promise.
Yes, we should limit our surfing to the programs that are actually delivering the hits and it's important for owners to realize that surfers' time is money! For owners, providing a quality product is how you keep surfers coming back and spending their time (and money) in your program. I guarantee, more exchanges will be released and many more will go offline. I myself, choose quality over quantity anyday!
Thank you so much for being a subscriber and I hope you enjoy this issue!

- Wow, what a week for Webmaster Quest! Not only did this program get back on top of this week's Top 10 list (check it out below) but they released a special promo page that promoted WMQ along with ClicksMatrix and Cash Clicking. The first exchanges to do this was Traffic Round Up, Hit Safari and Pro Hits Plus and it seems to be VERY popular for all exchanges invovled. Great exchanges not only provide the traffic, they provide the tools!
- Something to watch for. No More Hits, one of the first and biggest start exchanges on the net have been having some trouble with their credit management. Members have been surfing and not seeing their credits increase. While this is not un-usual because hits are delivered very fast, a recent support e-mail mentioned that they will look into the problem. I was surfing NMH yesterday and the problem still seems to be there. Don't start any super surf sessions at NMH until they resolve this, or you may be clicking in the mind!
- Shows how much I know! Manual Traffic Surf will be back online! There's a new owner and a new server being put in place as we speak, so last week's news about MTS shutting it's doors was a little premature. Welcome back MTS!

|
This week's results are based on traffic statistics (unqiue hits, page views, hits remaining, hits delivered) and if the exchange delivered results (sign ups). The industry changes just like in the real world, so an exchange may not be on the list this week, but will be number 1 next week! Discuss this week's Top 10 list in the Net Marketing Forum!
Enjoy this week's list!

Get 10,000 visitors for $10 Or 50,000 visitors for $30
Plus! Earn $5 - $15 per referral!
NOTE: This program delivers visitors slowly but pays referral commissions FAST... However it would take a while to click up 50,000 hits via the exchanges anyway.

This week's question comes from Ron;
"What is happening at Ezytraffic???
I keep getting traffic special ads from Ezytraffic but there is
no way to contact them. They do not show a phone number or
email address on their website and their help centre does not
appear to work."
My reply;
Thanks for the e-mail =)
Ahhh, good old EZYtraffic. They have been online for so many years but have never once answered any of my e-mails, ever. It reminds me of EZhits4u, a long running exchange with zero support.
I wish I could tell you that they have contacted me before but they have not. I have stayed clear of them for a few years now because like you, I was having some serious surfing problems (I was clicking, but never receiving any traffic)
Every now and then, they send you an update concerning some 'special' but a few of my associates that did purchase the upgrade, have yet to be upgraded, ever.
It's a sad state for that exchange and I appologize that I don't have an answer for you. I would suggest, to stay clear from them and all their exchanges =(
Do you have a burning question about hit exchanges? Thinking of starting one? Tired of clicking for hours with no results? This is H.E.N.'s weekly Q & A section where I will answer a question every week that you ask me!
Send all your questions to me here and just put HEY JON! in the subject line!
Congratulations to Ron for winning last issue's contest. Remember, keep sending in your 'Hey Jon' questions for your chance to win a quick 10 bucks!

| Program Review - Click Sender |
|
It's amazing what a few pennies can do to some members. Click Sender is one of those paid-2-click hit exchanges, similar to the old Hybrid Traffic hit exchange but with one major difference. Click Sender is one VERY active program. To be put simply, if you want alot of hits, and quick, this may be one of your best options online.
Why? Click Sender offers members cash for surfing it's program and while many of these sites have failed this one looks to combine the best of the hit exchange and paid-2-clcik industries in one program.
The design is very simple, but it's still well put together. The members area is very easy to navigate and surfing is a breeze. The only set back to this program is that it does not have a very high unique hit ratio. If you are looking for high unique, this is not your best choice but if you want hits, REALLY quick, Click Sender delivers!
% Unique Traffic: 39
Results: 3.0 out of 5.0
Traffic Flow (Speed of Delivery): Very Fast
Site Design: 3.5 out of 5.0
Customer Service: 3.5 out of 5.0
Ease of Use: 3.5 out of 5.0
Overall Rating: 3.5 Mouse Clicks (Rating out of 5.0)

| Things That Make You Go...Hmmm? (A 'Different' Look at the Industry!) |
|
- Just because you signed up for a newsletter or hit exchange, does'nt mean you can spam the owners. Please STOP the auto responder messages! Hmmm....
- The Nettle did a flattering review of HEN and NMF this past week, Jon has been blushing ever since! Hmmm...
- This is really funny, but what's so sad, is that people actually design sites like this. Very funny but not for the faint of heart Beware of the FrAmEz!!! Hmmm....

| New Exchange of the Week - Deep Sea Hits |
|
I must have been sleeping because this showed up under my nose, a few days after it launched. Not sure why it did because this one should be a dandy!
Owned by Robert Odell (Raging Bull / ClickinFingers) and Paula Zuehlke (Hit Safari / Quality Click Zone), Deep Sea Hits has got it all. The very popular LJscripts powers this exchange, and combine it will some very neat little graphics, colorful design and the owners to back it up, this program is sure to catch fire.
It has not yet been released to the memberships in their other programs, so it's a great time to take a dip in the Deep Sea!
