Last week, I talked about how well Hit Safari was at responding and dealing with customer complaints, this week I want to share with you two incidents that took place over the past 7 days that caused me to look back at the old fun topic of customer support.

First up, is that new hit exchange called 4 Quality Traffic. They state on their 'banned site' list that they do not accept any scam sites. They then go on to name out which programs they feel are 'scam' material. Here's the funny part;

"We are not saying EVERY PROGRAM listed here is a scam, BUT we do have serious doubts over EVERY program listed here so do NOT wish to advertise it in any way."

O.k., so let me get this straight. If they THINK it's a scam, it's banned. That's fine but what really peaked my interest was how my account were not only frozen, it was suspended because I chose to advertise a site which they thought was a scam?

The next program that blew me away with their responses was a new popular exchange called Hitz Up. This program looks and feels GREAT. I mean it's got it all, superior site design, traffic flow, unique selling points. Customer service? Hmmm...It took them almost a whole week to respond to my support requests and when they DID respond it was a single sentence answer.

7 days for 7 words?

Now don't get me wrong, I think they both can be very successful. I applaud 4 Quality for trying to keep their site 'scam free' and I applaud Hitz Up for their unique exchange. These are two programs that seemed to have forgotten what will make or break them, their members. Instead of banning my account, maybe a friendly e-mail to get me to change my URLs. If I have a support question, take the time and write a detailed message...

If the owners of this site read this, a good example of how to do a 180 degree turn in customer support, is Hit Pulse. A year ago, it would have been weeks to hear a response, now it's in hours. Hit Pulse is a pleasure to surf now, all because of a friendly support response.

This program is OLD! How old do you want to know? Remember that program called I Love Hits that I own, remember that script it used to be on? That's the same script as what Referral Traffic is on. There's quite a few changes to this program though, that could be the reason why it has stayed online for so long without any major design work.

Referral Traffic can deliver hits very quickly, or at a snail's pace. It's got a mind of it's own but the traffic does get delivered. I have not received an update in some time, but I do know that the admin for this program is still around because they answer support requests and assign purchased hits.

While not the most visually pleasing site online, this program does do what it says it will do, deliver traffic. It's a very old script, and it does need a major re-design. So while it is an oldie but goodie, it is time to put some work into the program.

New Exchange of the Week - Gone Clicking

When you click on the link for this site, you will notice my name in the testimonials.
