Welcome to the newest issue of the Hit Exchange News and this week's 'One To Click On by Jon'.

Last week it was beating the Yankees, this week it's congratulations for ending an 86 year drought. Way to go Boston, your Red Sox are world champs.

Who said I don't have a sense of humor? I had this caricature done of me this past week and have begun to promote it around the net...Kind of funny, but VERY unique. I've got a question for you, did it catch your attention?

How many sales has your affiliate site generated for you? Does it capture your viewer's attention? I've had a few interesting conversations with some 'marketers' lately who have been disputing the effectiveness of hit exchange advertising.

I always ask them this simple question..."What website are you promoting"?

It's usually a page long affiliate site, with testimonials from some guy who wrote an e-book in like 1997, BIG BOLD TEXT that is what they call 'attention grabbing headlines' and more filler than ever thought possible.

I'll say it again and again, hit exchange advertising is about one thing, and one thing only...Grabbing the attention of your viewer, immediately! Stop trying to feed people with page long ad copies, that works for search engine placements, and typical 'guru' marketing strategy. This is hit exchange advertising, you have seconds to make an impression. Let me re-phrase that, you have seconds to capture the viewers attention....

Something to think about before you spend those hard earned credits on an affiliate site. Unique splash pages are the way to go!

The News

Hit Exchange Survival Kit continues to exceed expectations. I have had a few beta send in comments like "my referrals have doubled" and "I've received 17 new members". This shows me that the Kit is something very special. In my comments above I stressed the importance of 'effective hit exchange advertising', this is what HESK is. I continue to build the cosmetic end of the program, but HESK is open for business now. The 'release date' is set for early November and is proving to be a very valubale tool for all exchange surfers!
Interesting news from the Paid To Click industry this week. One of the biggest PTC's online, Storm of Cash has recently implemented a 'click exchange' feature which essentially makes this a 23,000 plus member hit exchange. I'm sure this will not be the most effective and active hit exchange online right away, but the potential is there for huge growth. If anyone is familiar with the PTC industry, you know they can be VERY active members.
Tsunami Gold is getting ready to finally launch. The eagerly anticipated program from Doug Williams (Viral Visitors, Lemming Run, Money Legs) should come online in the next week or so and create quite a bit of hype, as it has already done. Get ready to see some very active clickers as this program gets ready create it's 'tidal wave' of promotions. The 3 Step people are excited about this, and it should prove to be an interesting program as are all of Mr. Williams' ventures.

Top 10 List

This week's results are based on traffic statistics (unique hits, page views, hits remaining, hits delivered) and if the exchange delivered results (sign ups). The industry changes just like in the real world, so an exchange may not be on the list this week, but will be number 1 next week! Discuss this week's Top 10 list in the Net Marketing Forum!

Deep Thoughts - Have I Found The Perfect Downline Club?

There are some great downline builders (or clubs) online. Programs like MPAM, Rev 9, Traffic Hoopla, Traffic Tornado, Joe Shmo and others each have their unique and impressive features. Some rely on the money making side of things, others remain focused on the hit exchanges they serve. I've always been a big fan of these programs, because MPAM is actually where I got my start in the industry many years ago (well it seem like many years ago *lol*)

Profit Rally is different though. I rarely promote programs I do not own in the hit exchanges, but this program is very special. If you have been surfing the exchanges lately, you must have noticed this site, I mean it's absolutely everywhere. And I'm going to tell you why it's number one in my books right now, and why thousands of people are joining this club.

Features! Profit Rally has got it all. This is THE complete advertising solution. Everything from ad trackers, to site rotators, to email capture, to auto responders, to downline mailers, even step by step training, this program has got it all. There is nothing this program does not cover. It's been bred for hit exchanges, and does an amazing job at not only building your downlines but giving you some nice residual income as well.

Program Review - Hitz Up

It came online a few months ago, and had quite a bit of hype behind it. The exchange had a fresh look and some very high expectations. It was backed by the PHP lite script and has since recently launched it's own money making program as well.

Hitz Up is a very good program. It could be a lot better but right now it's a very popular hit exchange and for good reasons. First, this program has generated over 6600 members in only a few short months. These are incredible numbers for a hit exchange and it continues to grow.

The only 'beef' I have with this program is the amount if time and effort it takes to get some customer service. They use a support ticket system for the contact requests, but do not make it very visible for members. Plus their ticket system also supports their other programs, so it can get confusing. I have had support requests answered in a day but some have taken up to a week to get a response.

If Hitz Up could tune up their support system, this program could be one of the better exchanges to come online in 2004. I hope so, because so far it looks great!

New Exchange of the Week - Click Ranch

I mentioned this program in last week's issue because it recently had a script re-design and had a facelift as well. So this is not a 'brand new exchange' but it may as well be because of the complete 180 turn it has made.
