Welcome to the newest issue of the Hit Exchange News and this week's 'One To Click On by
Jon'.
It's conference time...Again. I apologize for last week's mishap with the live conference
room. Of course I decided to pick the time of the day when the entire system was going
through some major changes. So the majority of people could not log in. This week however,
it's all system's go!
I will be in the conference room for the majority of the day and will have 'scheduled'
meetings at 12 noon EDT and 5 pm EDT. Please stop by if you can, as we should have some
great discussions happening for all those who want to mix and mingle with others in this
industry. If you thought forums were a good place to network, wait until you try out these
conference rooms.

- This is great! I'm so happy to finally get this program launched because technically
this is the first Hit Exchange 101 program that I started. New York Traffic
Exchange is a very unique hit exchange from a very dedicated owner. Chris Greig came to
me in August and told me he wanted to start a hit exchange. He wanted this thing to be
perfect and I think he did a great job putting it together. It's got a unique twist on surf
ratios and should keep people interested for months to come. Enjoy the newest addition to
the 101 family!
- Has anyone else seen the new surf bar at HitzUp.com? Wow, talk about getting your surfers involved. Now every
time you want to view a new site, you have to manually key in a three digit sequence to go
on to the next website. Some may think it's an added task, but I applaud it. I think it's
great because it takes a bit of effort, but the surfers are paying much more attention.
Interesting concept, we'll see how it goes.
- A brand new script can sometimes save a hit exchange *cough* I Love Hits *cough*. The
same can be said about Hit
Pirate. After a few months on the Walker script, the program has switched to a more
reliable and proven commercial script and the results have been almost immediate. Very
smooth surfing, and a fresh new look has turned this program around.

This week's results are based on traffic statistics (unique hits, page views, hits
remaining, hits delivered) and if the
exchange delivered results (sign ups). The industry changes just like in the real world, so
an exchange may not be on the
list this week, but will be number 1 next week! Discuss this week's Top 10 list in the Net Marketing

A great new service has been added to the Clix Network. It's called Surf Minder and wow,
what a great concept. If you are a newer surfer to the exchanges this may be exactly what
you are looking for. This new system sends out pre-scheduled reminders to your inbox that
remind you to surf the various exchanges.
This could be a valued tool for both exchange owners and surfers. Imagine if this got big
enough to where hit exchange owners can send out 'updates' and reminders to surf their
exchange to a list of active surfers? This could help their exchange stick out from the
crowd and more importantly remind the surfer that the program is still online. *LOL* I know
it sounds funny, but I get emails now and then from a program I thought went offline years
ago. It happens.
I think this concept is a great example of the potential this industry can have when both
owners and surfers work together. The Surf Minder is just a baby step and I'm sure Tim, the
owner, will have many more features like this coming out. But with so many exchange online
these days and so many more business opportunities, it seems like our trusted bookmarks are
no longer an effective 'reminder' of the programs we like to surf.
The surf minder is a great new tool for the exchange industry, and I'm looking forward to
see what is next!

| Program Review - Hits 4

There is still some reference of this being an auto surf exchange but it is not. Hits 4 Us
is a fully featured manual hit exchange with a kick behind it. Interesting because you get
quite a bit of bonus credits when you sign up but this program does a great job of getting
those used up quickly and yes, traffic flow is very good on this program.
The exactly launch date of this program is not known to me, but I remember hearing about it
a few months back. It has since switched owners and the newest owner, Terry Hopkins, has
done a great job of putting this site together.
It uses the popular PHP Lite script so you receive all the benefits you are used to, with an
easy to use members section, banner rotator, and so much more. This program is still being
developed but you can see that the owner has a great plan for it. Should be a fun one to
watch!

| New Exchange of the Week - Grand

This site looks very familiar. The sign up page, the concept of it, the ad copy, everything.
While I cannot confirm it, the way this program has been put together reminds me of a few
programs about a year or so ago, that rocked the hit exchange industry.
What I can tell you is that this program uses a hybrid surf bar that actually combines, a
manual and auto surf function. Yup, I never thought it would be possible, but this exchange
actually has BOTH manual and auto surf options on the surf bar at the same time. Interesting
to say the least.
Not sure how this program will do, there are some pretty big claims on the front page, but
if this is who I think it is, this program will turn some heads.
