The Most Important Email You'll Ever Send...

Post by JonOlson » Sun Nov 19, 2017 7:12 pm

One of the things that pops up a lot from people new to email marketing is that they are not sure what to send to their lists.

Here's what helped me and I know it'll help you!

Be yourself!

And adopt an indoctrination email for the first email you send

A what?

Indoctrination emails are messages used to get your list to essentially 'know' you. What will they be receiving when they join your list? Will they expect 1 email a week, maybe 2 or 3 from you? What topics will you be covering.

Just get them to know what you will be offering!

And then comes the best part...

Pull people back to you! Remember, email marketing is a push medium meaning you are PUSHING your message to people. When you start pulling people back to you, asking them to interact with you, follow you on twitter, like you on facebook etc....You are continuing the communication.

That's how you build long term relationships and once you get into the habit of speaking to your lists like you are trying to actually get to know them, the rest of your email marketing will fall in place!
